The Hideaway is a newly built log cabin set within a stunning rural location with acres of land to wander.  It is a warm, comfortable and cosy  (yet spacious) studio cabin with a double bed, sofa bed, kitchenette, and bathroom with shower. It is ideal for a short break or a longer more relaxing holiday. The cabin has spectacular views over to the Galloway Forest and Rhinns of Kells,  and is situated on the Southern Upland Way.

Forestry Commission Scotland has established part of Galloway Forest Park as the first Dark Sky Park in the UK. Announced on 16th November 2009
